Salehi in Brussels for nuclear cooperation

TEHRAN - Ali Akbar Salehi, director of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, left Tehran for Brussels on Monday, heading a delegation.

The trip is taken at the invitation of European Commissioner for Energy Miguel Arias Canete, IRNA reported.

Salehi plans to meet a number of Belgian officials including the country’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Didier Reynders and also a number of EU officials to discuss cooperation especially in the nuclear field.

Cooperation documents are scheduled to be signed.
